Terms of Service

Welcome to SureTrust. This Agreement is a contract between you and Emarkets24 Africa. By using our services, you signify your absolute agreement to these terms.

1. Service Scope

SureTrust provides a digital ecosystem for:

• Fund transfers between mobile wallets and bank accounts.
• Interoperable Quick Response (QR) payment protocols.
• Payment for utilities, airtime, and educational PINs (WAEC/JAMB/NECO).
• Access to marketplace products and group savings (Osusu).

2. User Registration

To access the Service, you must register an account with valid information, including a mobile phone number. You agree to provide true and accurate data as prompted during the registration process. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your PIN and security codes. SureTrust will not be liable for losses emanating from your negligence or unauthorized access to your account.

3. Financial Operations & Recovery

Undercharge Recovery: If a system error or technical fault results in a deduction that is less than the value of the goods or services received, SureTrust reserves the right to debit your wallet to recover the outstanding balance without further notice.

Set-Off: You authorize us to consolidate your accounts to set off any sums towards the satisfaction of your settlement liabilities, fees, or fines.

4. QR Payment Terms

When utilizing our QR Service, transaction fees apply based on value and prevailing tax laws. You are responsible for ensuring all transaction details, including recipient info and amounts, are accurate before confirming payment. SureTrust reserves the right to refuse a QR payment if suspected of fraud or money laundering.

5. Third-Party Merchants

The Service provides a portal to third-party merchants (e.g., CAC Registration, Utilities). These merchants operate under their own terms. SureTrust is not liable for the reliability, accuracy, or quality of products provided by these third parties.

6. Saving Products (Powered by Partners)

Our saving and investment sub-products enable you to deposit amounts and earn interest. Interest applies to funds remaining in your balance for at least 24 hours. We reserve the right to amend interest rates in accordance with market conditions and regulatory requirements.

7. Termination & Anti-Fraud

SureTrust reserves the right to block your account immediately if we reasonably suspect illegal activities, including fraud or money laundering. We may discontinue the Service at any time for regulatory or security purposes with due notice where practical.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes regarding general services shall be submitted to mediation at the Lagos State Multi-Door Courthouse. Disputes regarding Saving Products shall be settled via arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria.
